Improved navigation in Simployer Portal
This release focuses on enhancing the user experience by streamlining and modernizing navigation within the Simployer Portal.
1. Updated Header:
- Product Switcher: A new feature allowing easy navigation between different products in the Simployer suite.
- Search Bar: Remains in the same position and functions as before, with user information displayed next to it.
2. New Left Menu:
- Navigation has moved to the left side of the screen, offering a more consistent and visible menu. It can be minimized to provide more workspace. Menu items are reorganized for clearer access to different areas of the portal.
3. New Tab Menu:
- Users can now easily navigate between areas related to personal data using a tab-style interface.
4. Mobile Experience Improvements:
- A new mega menu consolidates navigation and search features, improving the mobile interface for easier access.
5. New Start Page: (Next step*)
- A redesigned start page introduces several new widgets:
- Popular Shortcuts: Provides quick links to frequently used pages.
- Fun Facts: Displays rotating fun facts on each visit.
- Your Colleagues & Sick Leave: Modernized widgets displaying your colleagues and sick leave details.
- Your Messages: Remains the same as before, showing user messages.

6. Simployer App Update:
- During December 2024, the Simployer App will be removed from the App Store and Google Play. However, users can still access Simployer via web browsers by adding a shortcut to their home screen, which will offer the improved navigation experience on mobile.
These updates are designed to simplify and speed up navigation, making it more intuitive both on desktop and mobile platforms.
